Holiday and Weekend Short Breaks
Brambles have subsidised Short Break outdoor activity places available
for disabled children and young people who live in Worcestershire.

Emily with GoatsWorcestershire Country Council – Aiming High for Disabled Children are working with Brambles to provide outdoor Short Break activities for disabled Children, Young People and their families, throughout all areas of Worcestershire.

These subsidised short breaks are ideal for children and young people between the ages of 5 and 19, who can attend on their own or with siblings and parents/carers.  Activities are suitable for people with specific and complex difficulties, including Autistic Spectrum Children with PigletsDisorder, Learning Difficulties, ADHD, emotional and behavioural issues.

We are now taking bookings for Saturday clubs throughout the year, and autumn and winter school holidays. Places are available for one off visits and regular sessions.

Prices per person are:
  • £10 per half day
  • £20 per full day

Brambles is based near Malvern.  We have funding to subsidise transport for groups visiting from areas further away such as Wyre Forrest, Kidderminster and Stourport, Redditch and Bromsgrove, Avon Valley, Evesham and Pershore.

Brambles is a very special and unique place in the middle of beautiful countryside, where people take part in daily farm tasks looking after our friendly Kune Kune pigs, Angora and Pygmy goats, and lots of different breeds of poultry and Rabbits, along with horticultural activities.

Outdoor and inside activities start with feeding all the animals, spreading clean bedding, and egg collecting. The second part of each day is usually spent as quiet time grooming, cuddling and playing with babies like piglets and chicks and rabbits.

Please call or email to find out more and to book a place.
