Entrance, Driveway, and Parking
Risk Symptons & Impact Prevention & Containment
Entrance gate left open so that animals escape or get in. If cows get in they could damage cars, or frighten clients. Gate to be altered so that it self shuts slowly.
Clients wander off site through the entrance gate on to the common or road Highly unlikely because clients are supervised at all times, unless they have been risk assessed and attained a level of trust. Clients and support workers will be instructed to ensure that they shut all gates behind them unless they have been told by a member of staff that is is open for a reason.
Animals may run free and scare visitors All visitors are supervised at all times unless they are at a level of experience and knowledge that we feel they are safe with animals. We ask about potential phobias before clients arrive.  A visit plan is designed to either keep the client and animals (usually birds) away from each other.
